Description
Sweden, mid-20th century
This generously proportioned porcelain coffee pot is a beautiful example of mid-century Swedish tableware, attributed to Rörstrand. Crafted in softly glazed ivory porcelain, the pot features a gently ribbed lower body, an elegant curved spout, and a scrolling handle finished with fine gilt detailing.
Delicate hand-applied floral motifs are scattered across the surface, small and restrained, adding warmth without overwhelming the form. The domed lid is topped with a sculptural finial, echoing the classical lines of the body and giving the piece a distinctly formal, almost ceremonial presence.
At 22 × 23 cm, this is a substantial piece. It works equally well as a functional coffee pot, a display object, or a statement accent in a kitchen or dining room vignette. Timeless, decorative, and unmistakably Scandinavian.
