Description

A pair of small stoneware bowls featuring hand-painted cobalt blue decoration on a soft grey-beige ground. Each bowl is finished with simple loop handles and decorated in an expressive, freehand manner—spirals on one, floral motifs on the other—reflecting the charm and individuality of traditional European folk pottery.

Thrown and decorated by hand, these bowls were originally utilitarian objects, intended for everyday kitchen use. Today, they read as beautifully imperfect decorative pieces, rich with character and quiet history. Their compact size makes them ideal for shelves, open kitchens, or as vessels for salt, herbs, or small objects.

The slight variation between the two bowls is part of their appeal, a reminder of their handmade origins.
